Livestock Farmers in Kiruhura district trained on how to do modern commercial farming

Following president museven’s guidance on modern farming,livestock farmers in Kiruhura district have been trained on how to do modern commercial farming in order to benefit from their work.

Yesterday farmers from Kiruhura district gathered at the family of Mr.Kobunguja Kosia in Nyanga Cell in Nshwere Ward in Rushere town council where they were trained how to plant grass for livestock.

While meeting farmers from Kiruhura and Kazo districts last month,His Excellence told farmers to start growing grass which will help them to have many cows on small piece of land.

Speaking to farmers who gathered at his home,Mr.Kobungunja Kosia advised farmers to embark on president’s idea because the population is growing high day by day hence land becoming small for the population.

Facilitators from Simlaw seeds,said that if farmers resort on growing grasses,they will benefit from their work.

Mr.Seith Mwetware Kiruhura district speaker encouraged parents to involve their children in farming activities instead of staying in towns looking for jobs.
