President Yoweri Museveni on Friday welcomed MP Twaha Kagabo to the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party.

After several months of an affair of public display with powerful members of the National Resistance Movement (NRM), Dr. Twaha Kagabo is back in the limelight.

On Friday, he was recognized by President Yoweri Museveni during the NRM caucus meeting at State House Entebbe.

A media handout which included several photos, indicates that President Museveni “welcomes Kagabo to NRM”.

The Lwengo legislator, who belongs to the National Unity Platform (NUP), the opposition flagship earlier in the day joined the NRM legislators for a meeting at the State House.

Summoned by the Government Chief Whip Nelson Obua, the NRM caucus, was hosted by the party Chairman President Museveni, to discuss several issues.

However, the State House on Friday (February 02, 2024) released Kagabo photographs with President Museveni, First Lady Janet Museveni, and other NRM bigwigs.
